Before Your Trip
PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
To ensure adequate assistance, boarding must be communicated at least 48 hours before departure to the company’s call center. Medmar ships are equipped with facilities for PRMs; the full list is available on this website. Our crew can provide assistance during boarding, access to reserved seats, and throughout the journey.
TICKET VALIDITY
Tickets are valid for the date, route, time, and type indicated on them; they cannot be used for later departures. Tickets can be modified up to one hour before departure at port ticket offices; reservations can be modified on this website or through the call center.
CHECK-IN FOR RESERVATIONS
For online or phone reservations, check-in must be done at port ticket offices, no later than 60 minutes before the booked departure. Vehicle owners or resident passengers must present their vehicle registration certificate or valid identification documents.
DURING THE CROSSING
For safety reasons, access to your vehicle is not allowed while sailing. We recommend carrying all necessary personal items with you for the journey. If traveling with a vehicle, once parked following the crew’s instructions, engage the handbrake, leave the vehicle in gear, and deactivate any sound alarms.
DISCOUNTED RATES FOR ISLAND RESIDENTS
Medmar offers special rates, for passengers and vehicles, to residents of Ischia and Procida. To benefit from these rates, you must present valid identification documents or the vehicle’s registration certificate at the ticket offices.
PETS
Pets are allowed on board Medmar ships, provided they are small in size and kept on a leash or in a carrier; in any case, animals must be kept outside the passenger lounges.
VEHICLE LANDING RESTRICTIONS
During the summer season, restrictions are in place for landing and driving certain types of vehicles on the Gulf of Naples islands. We recommend consulting the official texts of these restrictions published on this website before booking passage for a vehicle.
INVOICES
Tickets can be invoiced only upon explicit request by the customer before issuance, either at the counter or through the call center; online reservations cannot be invoiced.
